Front-end Engineer (Vue.JS)

WE'RE LOOKING FOR A

A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer, with a focus on Vue.js development.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and Vue.js.
Familiarity with server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases.
Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms.
Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code.
Experience with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git.
Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases.

Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using Vue.js, creating scalable components and implementing responsive web designs.
Optimize applications for speed, compatibility, and scalability, conducting regular code reviews to ensure code quality.
Translate functional requirements into practical technical solutions, collaborating with back-end developers and web designers to enhance usability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and maintain high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of other modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS
Familiarity with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Docker and continuous integration.
Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.

Candidates must be willing to work based on New York work hours, approximately from 12 Noon to 9 PM Sri Lankan time.
